The team shall...

  1. Meet The requirements of all relevant legislation and other requirements and persue best practice.
  2. Dispose of waste in a responsible manner and introduce programmes to minimise waste.
  3. Use energy responsibly and efficiently.
  4. Effectively manage and control processes to prevent pollution and help reduce the likelihood of environmental incidents.
  5. Continually improve environmental performance.
  6. Fully consider the impact on the environment before commiting capital expenditure.
  7. Engage employees, suppliers, team partners and race fans on environmental issues.
  8. Provide the necessary training and support in order to ensure that the team can fulfil the requirements outlined in this policy.

Environmental objectives

  • The team met its first objective of achieving ISO 14001 certification. This is the starting point for final development of specific environmental objectives which will be published later this year and will include:
    - Power from environmentally-friendly sources.
    - Specific CO2 reduction targets.
    - Further reductions in materials to landfill.
    - More sustainable travel initiatives.
